Zazen Retreats
Zazen retreats lasting several days are usually called sesshin. This is a Japanese word, which means to touch the mind or to touch the heart. The next Anzenkai sesshin will be arranged in cooperation with Dogen Sangha Finland. This sesshin will be held near Helsinki, Finland, 19-22 August 2010. More details coming soon. Welcome!
Zazen retreats lasting one day or less are usually called zazenkai. You are welcome to join our zazenkai at Umeå University once every month. We sit three periods of zazen and drink tea together. We meet 11.00 at the entrance to Naturvetarhuset, and we do zazen in a room at the University Chaplains. Upcoming dates for zazenkai 2010 are:
