Zazen Retreats
Zazen retreats lasting several days are usually called sesshin. This is a Japanese word, which means to touch the mind or the heart. Zazen retreats lasting one day or less are often called zazenkai. This is also a Japanese word that means zazen group.
The next Anzenkai sesshin will be held for three days during the autumn of 2010 outside of Umeå. Dates and further details coming soon.
You are welcome to join our zazenkai at Umeå University. We sit three periods of zazen and drink tea together. We meet 10.00 at the entrance to Naturvetarhuset, and we do zazen in a room at the University Chaplains. Coming dates are:
